Gmail Settings For Display Images. It seems that images are filtered at the server before email is downloaded in my laptop. Hotmail, outlook do not have issue displaying embedded images but gmail failed to display it.

Gmail App > Settings > General Settings > Triple Dot Menu > Clear Picture Approvals.
